EDGE Design & Project Management supply and install commercial catering equipment for businesses nationwide, working out of a glass-partitioned office in Warwickshire. With clear glazing running through the meeting room, boardroom and open plan area, they wanted privacy at desk and seated height without losing the natural light the office was designed around.
They came to us first rather than shopping the job around, and asked for manifestation across the full run of glass — every partition and every door leaf — with their logo worked into it rather than added as a separate decal.
We applied a continuous frosted band across the glazing, set at a height that screens seated sightlines while leaving clear glass above and below. The EDGE logo is cut out of the frost rather than applied over it, so the letterforms read as clear glass against whatever sits behind them.
Every panel was designed to fit its pane and cut in advance, then numbered to its position on the elevation. On site the panels were cleaned in, positioned and squeegeed, with no trimming needed against the glass.
